Private evidence, limited purpose.

Vakaviti Civic is an independent, non-commercial Nadi pilot. It is not a government service or emergency channel.

What is collected

A report contains a photo, issue category, description and approximate location. Contact details are optional and require separate consent. The precise device location is reduced to three decimal places before storage.

How it is used

Evidence is stored privately for human moderation, duplicate checks and pilot evaluation. It is not published or sent to councils, utilities, police, emergency services or other external parties during Stage 1.

Rewards

A human-accepted report may receive 10 Impact Points. Points have no cash value and cannot currently be transferred or redeemed. Sponsor interest does not create a partnership or reward guarantee.

Security and access

Photos are kept in private object storage. Citizen tracking requires both the public report reference and a separate claim code; only a one-way hash of that claim code is stored. The owner moderation desk requires an authorised sign-in.

Your choices

You can report without contact details. Avoid faces, number plates, private homes and personal information. Keep your claim code safe; it cannot be recovered by the public portal.

Retention

Pilot evidence is retained only while needed for moderation, safeguards and evaluation. A deletion-request process will be published before any external dispatch stage begins.
